Gatteo Mare

Gatteo Mare is located in the province of Forlì-Cesena, in Emilia-Romagna, near Cesenatico and Rimini. The village is located on the coast of the Adriatic Sea and is a popular holiday resort on the Adriatic coast, crossed by the mouth of the river Rubicone.

Also worthy of mention is the famous musician Secondo Casadei, born in Sant’Angelo di Gatteo, author of over a thousand pieces of Romagna folklore, including the timeless “Romagna mia (1954)”.

Finally in Gatteo a Mare you can visit, along via Matteotti, the “Amarcord” museum, where you can see vintage cars and motorcycles starting from the 40s and in excellent condition.
