Gatteo Mare is located in the province of Forlì-Cesena, in Emilia-Romagna, near Cesenatico and Rimini. The village is located on the coast of the Adriatic Sea and is a popular holiday resort on the Adriatic coast, crossed by the mouth of the river Rubicone.
